The 7409.1390.0007 from Schurter is an MGA-A series super-quick-acting SMD fuse in a hermetically sealed 1206 ceramic package with 300A breaking capacity, designed for avionics, medical, and defense applications.

The MGA-A fuse uses a thin metallic element designed to melt very quickly when current exceeds the rated value (super-quick-acting FF characteristic). The hermetically sealed ceramic package prevents moisture ingress and ensures reliable operation in harsh environments. When overcurrent occurs, the fusible element melts and interrupts the circuit, with the arc extinguished within the ceramic body. The 300A breaking capacity ensures safe interruption of high fault currents.
