The 3362P-1-103LF is a 10kOhm single-turn cermet trimmer potentiometer from Bourns in the industry-standard 3/8-inch square footprint (9.5 x 9.5mm). The P-series is a sealed top-adjustment design with a Philips screw adjustment slot. The cermet (ceramic-metal composite) resistive element provides: (1) Wide resistance range (10 ohm to 5M ohm); (2) Low temperature coefficient (+/-100ppm/C typical); (3) Good stability (2% CRV – Contact Resistance Variation); (4) Long adjustment life (200 cycles minimum). The single-turn design provides approximately 270 degrees of mechanical rotation from minimum to maximum resistance. The resolution is approximately 0.15% per degree of rotation, giving roughly 1800 discrete positions. The power rating is 0.5W at 70C, derating linearly to 0W at 125C. The 103 in the part number encodes the resistance: 10 x 10^3 = 10,000 ohms. The -LF suffix specifies lead-free. The 3362P is a board-level adjustment component, not intended for frequent user access: it is set during manufacturing calibration and then left in position. Common applications: (1) Voltage feedback adjustment in DC-DC converters (trimming output voltage); (2) Op-amp offset nulling; (3) Oscillator frequency adjustment; (4) Sensor calibration. The sealed construction prevents contamination from flux and cleaning solvents during PCB assembly. The adjustment tool is a 0.05mm flat-blade screwdriver.
