It combines 128KB Flash and 16KB SRAM with ultra-low power consumption through sophisticated energy management with four energy modes. The Peripheral Reflex System (PRS) allows peripherals to communicate without CPU intervention, further reducing power consumption. Features include hardware AES encryption, LCD controller, 12-bit ADC and DAC, and multiple serial interfaces.

The EFM32G210 operates around four energy modes: EM0 (Active) for full CPU and peripheral operation, EM1 (Sleep) where the CPU sleeps but peripherals run, EM2 (Deep Sleep) with only low-frequency oscillators and low-energy peripherals active, and EM3 (Stop) with only the watchdog and RTC running. The Energy Management Unit (EMU) controls transitions between modes. The Peripheral Reflex System (PRS) enables autonomous inter-peripheral communication without CPU wake-up, reducing overall energy consumption. The DMA controller performs memory operations independently of the CPU.
