The TLV9052IDDFR is a Texas Instruments dual rail-to-rail input/output CMOS operational amplifier with 5MHz gain-bandwidth product and 330µA per-channel quiescent current, in an 8-pin SOT-23 (DDF) package. The 1.8V to 5.5V supply range supports single-cell Li-ion and 3.3V/5V logic rails. The 5MHz GBW at only 330µA per channel gives an excellent GBW-to-IQ ratio of 15 MHz/mA, making the TLV9052 ideal for battery-powered applications requiring both bandwidth and long battery life. The rail-to-rail input common-mode range extends 200mV beyond both supply rails, and the rail-to-rail output swings within 50mV of the rails with a 10kΩ load. The 0.5mV typical input offset voltage and 1pA input bias current are suitable for precision low-side current sensing and sensor signal conditioning. EMI-hardened inputs reduce susceptibility to RF interference in noisy environments. The DDF (SOT-23-8) package provides a compact footprint for space-constrained designs rated for -40°C to +125°C.

The TLV9052 uses a complementary CMOS input stage with PMOS and NMOS pairs that provide rail-to-rail input common-mode range. At input voltages near the negative rail, the PMOS pair is active; near the positive rail, the NMOS pair takes over. The transition between pairs is managed by a cross-coupled circuit that minimizes offset voltage shifts across the common-mode range. The 5MHz GBW is set by the dominant-pole compensation capacitor. The class-AB CMOS output stage drives the output to within millivolts of both supply rails. The 330µA per-channel bias current is set by an on-chip reference. EMI filtering is integrated at the input stage to prevent RF rectification.
