The 50% minimum CTR at IF=5mA ensures reliable signal transfer even at low LED drive currents, making the TLP293 suitable for low-power isolation applications. The SO6L package provides a creepage distance of greater than 5mm, meeting the safety requirements for reinforced isolation in industrial and appliance applications per IEC 60747-5-5 and UL 1577.
