The STM32F407IGH6 is part of STMicroelectronics’ high-performance STM32F4 series, built around the ARM Cortex-M4 core with a floating-point unit (FPU) and DSP instructions. Running at up to 168 MHz with 210 DMIPS performance, it features the ART Accelerator that enables zero-wait-state execution from Flash memory. The device integrates 1 MB of Flash, 192 KB of SRAM (including 64 KB of core-coupled memory), and 4 KB of backup SRAM. Its rich peripheral set includes Ethernet MAC, USB OTG HS/FS, dual CAN, SDIO, camera interface, and 3 ADCs with 24 channels, making it ideal for complex embedded applications.

The multi-AHB bus matrix connects the CPU, DMA controllers, and peripherals through separate AHB/APB buses for concurrent operation. The Ethernet MAC interfaces with an external PHY via MII/RMII. USB OTG HS supports host and device modes with an integrated full-speed PHY and ULPI for high-speed operation. The DMA controller supports 16 streams with FIFOs for efficient data transfers between peripherals and memory.
