The SN74LVC2G07DCKR from TI is a dual non-inverting buffer with open-drain outputs in SC-70-6. Operates from 1.65-5.5V with 5.5V over-voltage tolerant inputs. Open-drain outputs can be pulled up to 5.5V (independent of VCC), enabling level translation. 32mA sink current, 3.5ns propagation delay at 5V. Bus-hold on inputs eliminates external pull-ups. Ioff support for live insertion. DCKR suffix denotes SC-70-6 tape-and-reel. Ideal for I2C level translation, wired-OR interrupt lines, and mixed-voltage bridging.

Each channel consists of a non-inverting buffer with an open-drain NMOS output transistor. When the input is high, the output transistor turns ON, pulling the output to GND (sink current up to 32mA). When the input is low, the output transistor turns OFF, and the output floats (high-impedance) — an external pull-up resistor is required to establish the high level. The open-drain configuration allows: (1) level translation where the pull-up voltage can differ from VCC, (2) wired-OR connection of multiple outputs, and (3) I2C/SMBus compatibility. The over-voltage tolerant inputs accept voltages up to 5.5V regardless of VCC, allowing connection to higher-voltage logic. The Ioff circuitry disables the output when VCC = 0V, preventing back-driving during partial power-down.
