The SN74AVC2T245RSWR from TI is a 2-bit dual-supply bus transceiver with independent direction control per channel in UQFN-10 (1.8×1.4mm). Each port operates from 1.2-3.6V with 4.6V tolerant I/Os. 500Mbps data rate for 1.8V-to-3.3V translation. Two DIR pins (DIR1, DIR2) allow each channel to operate independently. RSW suffix denotes UQFN-10, R suffix denotes tape-and-reel. Ideal for JTAG and multi-voltage bus bridging in space-constrained applications.

The SN74AVC2T245 uses direction-controlled architecture where each of the two channels has its own DIR pin. When DIR is high, data flows from A port to B port; when DIR is low, data flows from B port to A port. The OE pin (referenced to VCCA) enables or disables both channels simultaneously — when OE is high, both output ports are in 3-state (Hi-Z). The dual-supply architecture allows each port to operate at a different voltage, with the voltage translation occurring internally. The 4.6V tolerant I/Os allow connection to higher-voltage nodes even when VCC is as low as 1.2V. The VCC isolation feature ensures both ports enter Hi-Z if either VCC is at GND, critical for hot-swap and power-sequencing scenarios.
