The KOA RK73B1ETTP162J is a general-purpose thick film chip resistor from the RK73B series, offering 1.6kΩ resistance with ±5% tolerance. Packaged in the compact 0603 (1608 metric) footprint, it delivers 0.1W power rating with a maximum working voltage of 75V. The resistor features anti-sulfuration construction and is AEC-Q200 qualified, making it suitable for automotive and industrial applications where reliability is critical. The metal-glaze thick film element provides excellent heat resistance and weather resistance.

The RK73B thick film resistor uses a metal-glaze resistive film deposited on a ceramic substrate. The resistance value is achieved by laser trimming the thick film element to the target value. Nickel barrier terminations prevent solder leaching during assembly. The anti-sulfuration design uses a special inner electrode material that resists corrosion from sulfur-containing atmospheres, which is critical for automotive and industrial environments. Power derating applies above the rated ambient temperature of 70°C.
