The MSP430FR2155TDBTR is a member of the MSP430FR2x family of ultra-low-power microcontrollers from Texas Instruments. It features 32KB of non-volatile FRAM (Ferroelectric Random Access Memory) for program storage and 4KB of SRAM for data processing. The integrated Smart Analog Combo (SAC) modules provide configurable operational amplifiers, programmable gain amplifiers, DACs, and comparators, making this device ideal for precision sensing and measurement applications. FRAM technology combines the speed of SRAM with the non-volatility of Flash, enabling flexible memory partitioning and instant write capabilities with virtually unlimited endurance.

The MSP430FR2155TDBTR operates on a 16-bit RISC architecture capable of up to 24 MHz operation. The CPU executes instructions from FRAM with single-cycle access. Four Smart Analog Combo (SAC-L3) modules each contain a programmable gain amplifier (PGA), a 12-bit DAC, and a comparator that can be independently configured. The 12-bit ADC with 10 channels and 200 ksps sampling rate converts analog sensor signals to digital values. The device supports multiple low-power modes including LPM3 (1.43 µA with RTC active) and LPM4.5 (42 nA) to extend battery life in portable applications. Communication peripherals include eUSCI modules supporting UART, SPI, and I2C protocols.
