MRA4007T3G

The MRA4007T3G is a surface mount standard recovery power rectifier from onsemi, featuring glass passivated junction construction ideally suited for automotive and industrial power applications. With a 1000V peak repetitive reverse voltage rating and 1A average rectified forward current, this device provides reliable rectification in a compact SMA (DO-214AC) package. The glass passivation ensures stable high-temperature performance and long-term reliability.

The MRA4007T3G operates as a unidirectional current switch based on a PN junction. When forward biased (anode positive relative to cathode), current flows with a forward voltage drop of typically 1.1V at 1A. When reverse biased, the junction blocks current flow up to the rated 1000V reverse voltage, with leakage current specified at 10 µA maximum. The glass passivated junction provides superior temperature stability and reduces reverse leakage compared to standard planar junctions. The standard recovery characteristic (>500ns reverse recovery) makes it suitable for line-frequency rectification applications rather than high-frequency switching.
