The LM321SN3T1G is a general-purpose single-channel operational amplifier manufactured by onsemi in a compact SOT-23-5 surface-mount package. It operates over a wide supply voltage range from 3V to 32V in single-supply configurations or plus/minus 1.5V to plus/minus 16V in dual-supply configurations. With a gain-bandwidth product of 1MHz and a typical slew rate of 0.5V/us, the LM321 is well-suited for low-frequency signal conditioning tasks. The device draws a typical supply current of only 430uA at 5V, making it ideal for battery-powered and portable applications. Its input common-mode range includes ground, and the output can swing to within 1.5V of the positive rail, providing flexibility in single-supply designs.

The LM321SN3T1G uses a classic two-stage CMOS/bipolar operational amplifier architecture. The input stage consists of a differential pair that amplifies the voltage difference between the inverting and non-inverting inputs. The gain stage provides the majority of the open-loop voltage gain (typically 50V/mV). The output stage is a class-AB push-pull buffer capable of driving loads to within 1.5V of the supply rails. Frequency compensation is internal, providing stable operation for unity-gain and higher gain configurations. The device maintains a high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) of 100dB typical, ensuring that power supply noise does not significantly affect the output signal.
