The JWL4024S05 is a 2W isolated DC-DC converter with 24V input and 5V output, providing 1500VDC isolation in a compact SMD module for industrial control and sensor power applications.

The DC-DC converter uses a flyback or forward topology with an isolated transformer. The input DC is switched at high frequency (typically 100-300kHz) through the transformer primary. The secondary winding is rectified and filtered to produce the isolated 5V output. Optocoupler feedback or primary-side regulation maintains output voltage regulation. The transformer provides galvanic isolation between input and output.
