(2) Deadtime Logic: When the HIN input goes high (requesting high-side on), the device first ensures the low-side output is off, waits for the 2.5us deadtime, then turns on the high-side output. The cross-conduction prevention logic ensures both outputs in a half-bridge are never on simultaneously. (3) Current Sense Amplifier: The internal op-amp amplifies the voltage across an external current sense resistor in the ground return path. The amplified output (CAO) provides analog current feedback to the MCU. (4) Over-Current Shutdown: When the ITRIP pin voltage exceeds the threshold (approximately 0.5V), all six output drivers are immediately disabled. The FAULT pin is pulled low to indicate the shutdown event. (5) UVLO: Undervoltage lockout on both VCC and each bootstrap supply prevents insufficient gate drive voltage.
