The Infineon IPD60R180P7S is a 600V CoolMOS P7 superjunction N-channel power MOSFET in DPAK package with 1.8Ohm RDS(ON) and 5.5A current rating. The P7 technology provides best-in-class RDS(ON) and switching performance, making it ideal for high-voltage SMPS, PFC stages, and LED drivers. The low Eoss (9.8uJ) enables efficient soft-switching topologies.

The IPD60R180P7S uses Infineon’s CoolMOS P7 superjunction technology which employs deep trench filling to create alternating N and P columns in the drift region. This allows the depletion region to spread laterally during blocking, enabling a thinner drift region for the same 600V breakdown voltage. The result is dramatically lower on-resistance compared to conventional planar MOSFETs. The P7 generation further optimizes cell structure and process for improved switching performance and lower energy losses.
