The EL-PD15-22C/TR8 from Everlight is a silicon PIN photodiode with fast response time and IR sensitivity in a surface-mount package for optical detection applications.

The PIN photodiode operates in reverse-bias mode. Incident photons generate electron-hole pairs in the intrinsic (I) layer of the PIN structure. The electric field across the depletion region sweeps the carriers to the terminals, producing a photocurrent proportional to the light intensity. The PIN structure provides faster response than standard PN photodiodes due to the wider depletion region and reduced junction capacitance.

  • In case of loss or severe damage during transit, please contact us within 48 hours after receiving the tracking information. We will assist you in filing a claim with the logistics provider.
