The BQ24075RGT from Texas Instruments is a 1.5A Li-ion charger, USB compatible, VQFN-16 in a VQFN-16 package. It provides a complete battery management solution with programmable charging, thermal regulation, and safety features for portable and USB-powered applications.

The charger uses a switch-mode buck topology to efficiently convert input voltage to the battery charging voltage. A charge current sense resistor provides current feedback for CC mode. The I2C interface allows dynamic adjustment of charge parameters and monitoring of battery status.
