The ANN-MB-00 is a multi-band L1/L2 active GNSS antenna from u-blox, designed for high-precision RTK positioning applications. Supporting GPS L1/L2, GLONASS G1/G2, BeiDou B1/B2, Galileo E1/E5b, and QZSS L1/L2 bands, this antenna features a high-performance dual-resonance dual-feed RHCP patch element with built-in LNA and SAW pre-filtering. The antenna includes a 5-meter RG174 cable with SMA connector and magnetic mounting base, housed in an IP67-rated enclosure measuring 82 x 60 x 22.5mm.

The u-blox ANN-MB-00 is a dual-band (L1/L2) active GNSS antenna designed specifically for high-precision RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) positioning applications. The antenna supports all major GNSS constellations — GPS (L1/L2), GLONASS (G1/G2), Galileo (E1/E5b), BeiDou (B1/B2), and QZSS (L1/L2) — enabling multi-band, multi-constellation RTK with centimeter-level accuracy. The antenna element uses a dual-resonance, dual-feed RHCP (Right-Hand Circular Polarization) patch design with a built-in high-gain LNA (28dB) and SAW pre-filtering to suppress out-of-band interference. Housed in an IP67-rated enclosure, the antenna is protected from dust and temporary water immersion, making it suitable for demanding outdoor deployments. The integrated magnetic base provides easy mounting on metal surfaces, with two M4 screw holes for permanent installation. The 5-meter RG174 cable with SMA connector provides flexible routing to the GNSS receiver. Note: This product has been announced as EOL; ANN-MB-01 (SMB connector) or ANN-MB-02 (MCX connector) are recommended for new designs.

The ANN-MB-00 operates as an active GNSS antenna that receives L-band satellite signals and amplifies them before transmission to the GNSS receiver. The dual-resonance patch antenna element is designed to resonate at both L1 (1559-1606MHz) and L2/E5b/B2I (1197-1249MHz) bands simultaneously, using dual feed points to achieve right-hand circular polarization (RHCP) which matches the polarization of GPS/GNSS satellite transmissions. The received RF signal passes through a SAW (Surface Acoustic Wave) band-pass pre-filter that rejects out-of-band interference, particularly from nearby cellular transmitters. The filtered signal then enters the LNA (Low Noise Amplifier) which provides 28dB of gain while adding only 3.2dB maximum noise figure. The amplified signal is delivered to the GNSS receiver through the 5-meter RG174 coaxial cable. Power for the LNA is supplied from the GNSS receiver through the coaxial center conductor (typically 3-5V DC), with bias tee separation at both ends.
