Import Duties & Taxes

- Handling of Lost or Damaged Goods
- In case of loss or severe damage during transit, please contact us within 48 hours after receiving the tracking information. We will assist you in filing a claim with the logistics provider.

The AMC1100DWV from Texas Instruments is a precision fully-differential isolation amplifier with a silicon dioxide (SiO2) isolation barrier in a wide-body SOIC-8 (DWV) package. The device is specifically optimized for shunt-resistor-based current sensing with a +/-250mV input voltage range and a fixed gain of 8 with 0.5% accuracy. The SiO2 isolation barrier provides 4250Vpeak basic isolation certified per DIN VDE V 0884-11 and 3005Vrms per UL1577, making it suitable for high-voltage applications with working voltages up to 1200Vpeak. The 108dB common-mode rejection ratio effectively rejects noise on high-side supply lines. The input bandwidth of 60kHz minimum supports mains-frequency current measurement. The output common-mode voltage is automatically adjusted to either 3V or 5V low-side supply, enabling direct interfacing with 3.3V or 5V ADCs. The device operates over the -40C to +105C extended industrial temperature range.
The AMC1100DWV uses a sigma-delta modulator and SiO2 isolation barrier for precision isolated measurement. (1) Input Stage: The high-side input accepts differential signals up to +/-250mV, directly compatible with shunt resistor voltage drops. The input is sampled by a second-order sigma-delta modulator clocked by an internal oscillator. (2) Isolation: The digital bitstream from the modulator crosses the SiO2 isolation barrier capacitively. The silicon dioxide dielectric provides high insulation resistance and excellent magnetic field immunity, unlike optocoupler-based isolators. The barrier is certified to 4250Vpeak per VDE and 3005Vrms per UL1577. (3) Output Stage: On the low side, a third-order sinc filter reconstructs the analog signal with fixed gain of 8. The differential output swings around an auto-adjusted common-mode voltage of VDD2/2. (4) CMRR: The 108dB CMRR is achieved by the fully-differential signal path and the capacitive isolation barrier, which does not couple common-mode signals.
