The AD8065ARTZ-REEL7 from Analog Devices is a 145MHz fastFET voltage feedback operational amplifier in a SOT-23-5 package. The device features 180V/us slew rate, ultra-low 0.6pF input capacitance, and 2pA typical input bias current, making it ideal for high-impedance and high-speed signal conditioning. The JFET input stage provides low noise (7nV/sqrtHz) and low distortion (0.0005% at 1MHz). Supply voltage ranges from 5V to 24V with 6.5mA typical supply current. Applications include photodiode transimpedance amplifiers, active filters, video line drivers, and high-speed data acquisition front-ends.

The AD8065ARTZ-REEL7 uses a JFET input voltage feedback architecture. (1) JFET Input: A matched JFET differential pair provides the ultra-low 0.6pF input capacitance and 2pA input bias current, essential for high-impedance sensor interfaces. The JFET also contributes low 7nV/sqrtHz voltage noise. (2) Voltage Feedback: The classic voltage feedback topology provides balanced bandwidth in inverting and non-inverting configurations. The 145MHz unity-gain bandwidth and 180V/us slew rate support high-frequency signal processing. (3) Output Stage: A complementary emitter-follower output stage drives up to 50mA into 30pF capacitive loads with low distortion. (4) Compensation: Internal dominant-pole compensation ensures stability at unity gain, while the low input capacitance preserves bandwidth in transimpedance configurations.
