The AD711JRZ from Analog Devices is a precision high-speed BiFET operational amplifier combining DC precision with fast settling time. The laser-trimmed input offset voltage of 300 uV maximum (J grade) and ultra-low 15 pA input bias current make it suitable for high-impedance sensor interfaces. The 1 us settling time to +/-0.01% (12-bit accuracy) and 20 V/us slew rate enable use as a DAC/ADC buffer in data acquisition systems. The AD711 is an enhanced replacement for the LF411 and TL081, offering superior precision and dynamic performance. Note: This product is not recommended for new designs; the ADA4610-1 is the recommended replacement.

The AD711JRZ uses a BiFET (Bipolar + JFET) process combining ion-implanted JFET input transistors with bipolar output and gain stages. The JFET input pair provides ultra-low input bias current (15 pA typical) and high input impedance, making it ideal for high-source-impedance applications. The input offset voltage is laser-trimmed at wafer level to 300 uV maximum. The bipolar second stage and output stage provide high slew rate (20 V/us) and fast settling (1 us to 0.01%). The output stage uses a class AB push-pull configuration capable of driving 600 Ohm loads. The internal compensation capacitor ensures stability in unity-gain configurations while maintaining fast settling. The 4 MHz bandwidth and 88 dB CMRR make it suitable for precision active filter applications.
