The 3224W-1-104E from Bourns is a 12-turn cermet trimming potentiometer in a compact 4mm surface-mount package. With 100 kΩ resistance and ±10% tolerance, it provides fine 12-turn resolution for precision circuit adjustment. The cermet element ensures excellent stability over temperature (±100 ppm/°C). Sealed construction withstands board wash processing. AEC-Q200 qualification suits automotive electronics.

A cermet resistive element with a sliding wiper is moved by a lead screw mechanism across 12 turns. Each turn moves the wiper by a precise increment, providing fine resolution. The cermet (ceramic-metal) material provides low noise and excellent temperature stability compared to carbon composition elements.
