The 1N4007G-T from onsemi is a 1000V, 1A glass-passivated general-purpose rectifier diode in DO-41 through-hole package. Glass passivation provides improved reliability and lower leakage compared to standard 1N4007. Forward voltage drop of 1.1V max at 1A with 5uA max reverse leakage. 30A surge current rating for robust operation. Tape-and-reel packaging for automated assembly.

A PN junction diode that conducts current in the forward direction (anode positive relative to cathode) and blocks current in the reverse direction up to 1000V. Glass passivation of the junction surface provides a protective layer that reduces surface leakage and improves reverse voltage capability and long-term reliability. The relatively large junction area provides 1A current handling and 30A surge capability but results in ~2us reverse recovery time, limiting use to line-frequency and low-frequency applications.
