The APG1608SURKC/T from Kingbright is a high-brightness red 0603 SMD LED with AlGaInP technology and red diffused lens for compact PCB indicator applications.

When forward-biased, the AlGaInP LED die emits red light (~630nm). The red diffused lens scatters the light for uniform viewing at wide angles. A current-limiting resistor in series prevents damage from overcurrent. The 0603 package is compatible with standard SMD pick-and-place equipment.
