The ADA4092-4ARUZ-RL is a quad micropower precision operational amplifier from Analog Devices featuring unique over-the-top input capability that allows the common-mode input voltage to exceed the positive supply rail. This makes it ideal for high-side current sensing and battery monitoring applications. With 250uV max offset voltage, 2.5MHz bandwidth, and only 320uA per amplifier, it provides precision amplification in a 14-lead TSSOP package over the -40 to +125C temperature range.

The ADA4092-4 uses an over-the-top input stage architecture where the input differential pair can handle common-mode voltages well above the positive supply rail. This is achieved through a proprietary input stage that references to the negative supply rather than the positive supply. The device maintains precision specifications even when the input common-mode voltage is significantly above V+. This enables direct measurement of signals referenced to high-side supply rails without voltage dividers.
