The AD7226KRZ is a LC2MOS Quad 8-Bit Voltage Output D/A Converter manufactured by Analog Devices. It contains four 8-bit voltage-output DACs with output buffer amplifiers and interface logic on a single monolithic chip. Separate on-chip latches are provided for each of the four D/A converters. Data is transferred through a common 8-bit TTL/CMOS compatible input port, with control inputs A0 and A1 selecting the target DAC. No external trims are required to achieve full specified performance. The AD7226 is fabricated in a high-speed Linear Compatible CMOS process, allowing both high-speed digital logic and precision analog circuits on the same chip.

The AD7226KRZ operates as four independent 8-bit DACs sharing a common data bus and control logic. An 8-bit data word is loaded into the selected DAC latch via the common input port when WR goes low. Address inputs A0 and A1 determine which DAC is addressed. Each DAC includes an output buffer amplifier capable of driving up to 5 mA. The voltage-mode configuration allows single-supply operation, with the output polarity matching the reference voltage. The on-chip laser-trimmed offsets eliminate the need for external nulling circuitry.
