The 6A10-T is a 6A 1000V general purpose rectifier diode in a DO-201AD axial package with 1.0V max forward voltage, 400A surge current capability, and -65C to +175C operating range.

The rectifier diode allows current to flow in only one direction (anode to cathode). When forward-biased (anode voltage exceeds cathode by >0.7V), current flows with a low voltage drop of approximately 1.0V. When reverse-biased, the diode blocks current up to the 1000V reverse voltage rating. The P-N junction construction provides the rectification function. The large silicon die and robust package enable 6A continuous current and 400A surge current handling.
