With up to 92% efficiency, the amplifier typically requires no external heatsink. The TAS5722LRSMR receives digital audio data through the I2S interface and processes it through the integrated DSP engine. The DSP applies configurable audio processing including biquad filters for equalization, dynamic range compression for loudness management, and mixing functions. The processed digital audio is then converted to a PWM signal that drives the output H-bridge power stage. The Class-D output stage uses high-frequency switching to modulate the supply voltage, and an external LC filter reconstructs the analog audio signal.
