The RC1206FR-077R15L is a Yageo RC series thick film chip resistor with 7.15 Ω resistance, ±1% tolerance (F-grade), and 0.25W (1/4W) power rating in a 1206 surface-mount package. The E96 series value combined with 1% precision enables accurate voltage divider ratios and bias current settings in DC-DC converter feedback networks, LED driver current programming, and instrumentation amplifier gain circuits.

The RC1206FR-077R15L provides 7.15 Ω resistance through a laser-trimmed thick film cermet layer on an alumina substrate. The ±1% tolerance is achieved via precise laser trimming during manufacturing, where the resistive film is selectively removed to fine-tune the resistance value. In voltage divider applications, the resistor combines with other precision resistors to create specific division ratios. The ±100 ppm/°C TCR ensures stability over the -55°C to +155°C operating range.
