The THVD2450DR from Texas Instruments is a ±70V fault-protected, half-duplex RS-485/RS-422 transceiver in an 8-pin SOIC package. Operating from 3V to 5.5V supply, it supports data rates up to 50 Mbps with integrated IEC ESD protection (±12 kV contact discharge), extended ±25V common-mode range, and 250 mV receiver hysteresis.
