(1) The PIC16 mid-range CPU core executes 35 single-word instructions with a 2-stage pipeline, accessing 2K x 14 program memory words and 128 bytes of data RAM through an 8-level hardware stack for subroutine calls and interrupts. (2) The analog subsystem provides 12 channels of 10-bit successive approximation ADC conversion and two comparators with programmable on-chip voltage reference, enabling direct sensor interface without external components.
