The device features 1.75KB Flash program memory, 64 bytes RAM, 128 bytes EEPROM, a 4-channel 10-bit ADC, and one analog comparator with internal voltage reference. The internal 4MHz oscillator eliminates the need for external clock components, and the interrupt-on-change capability on GPIO pins enables event-driven designs. The E suffix denotes extended temperature range (-40 to +125C), and the SN suffix denotes SOIC-8 package.

The PIC12F675-E/SN operates as an 8-bit PIC12F mid-range microcontroller. (1) The CPU executes 35 single-word instructions through a 2-stage pipeline at up to 5 MIPS (20MHz). The 8-level hardware stack supports subroutine nesting and interrupt handling. The internal 4MHz oscillator is factory-calibrated and can be software-tuned. (2) The 4-channel 10-bit ADC uses a successive approximation register (SAR) architecture, converting each channel in approximately 20us. The internal voltage reference can be used with the comparator for threshold detection without external components. (3) The 128-byte EEPROM provides non-volatile storage for calibration data and user settings, with 1 million erase/write cycle endurance and 40-year data retention. The interrupt-on-change feature on GPIO pins allows the device to sleep and wake only when a pin changes state, minimizing power consumption.
