The MCP23S17T-E/ML from Microchip Technology is a 16-bit I/O expander with SPI interface in a 28-pin QFN (6x6mm) package. It provides 16 bidirectional I/O pins with interrupt output, programmable via SPI at up to 10MHz. Three hardware address pins allow up to 8 devices on the same SPI bus.
