The LT3758EMSE#TRPBF is a wide input voltage range Boost/SEPIC/Flyback DC/DC controller from Analog Devices (formerly Linear Technology). Operating from 5.5V to 100V input, it drives an external N-channel MOSFET and provides programmable switching frequency from 100kHz to 1MHz. Packaged in a 12-lead MSOP with exposed pad.

The LT3758EMSE#TRPBF is a wide input voltage range DC/DC controller from Analog Devices that can be configured as a boost, SEPIC, or flyback converter. With an input range of 5.5V to 100V, it is suitable for demanding automotive, industrial, and telecom power supply applications. The controller drives an external N-channel MOSFET and features programmable switching frequency from 100kHz to 1MHz, soft-start, frequency foldback, and external clock synchronization capabilities.

The LT3758 uses fixed-frequency current-mode control for stable operation across wide input and output voltage ranges. An internal LDO regulator provides gate drive voltage from the VIN supply. The current mode architecture uses an 80mV current sense threshold for precise switch current limiting. Programmable soft-start limits inrush current during startup, while frequency foldback reduces switching frequency during output short-circuit to protect external components. The UVLO pin with programmable hysteresis provides controlled startup and shutdown behavior.
