The LMZ31707RVQ from TI integrates a 7A synchronous buck DC-DC converter with MOSFETs, shielded inductor, and passives in a 10x10x4.3mm B3QFN. Only 3 external components needed. Eliminates loop compensation and magnetics selection. Adjustable frequency (200kHz-1.2MHz), clock sync, current sharing for parallel operation. 95% efficiency, 1% output accuracy, comprehensive protection. Ideal for FPGAs, DSPs, ASICs in communications and industrial equipment.

Current-mode synchronous buck converter. Output voltage sensed via VADJ pin (external divider) compared with 0.6V reference. Error amplifier controls inductor current through PWM comparator. Integrated shielded inductor stores energy during high-side MOSFET on-time, releases through low-side during off-time. ISHARE pin balances current between parallel modules. SYNC_OUT provides 180-degree phase-shifted clock for interleaved designs. Eco-mode reduces frequency at light loads.
