The LMV358IDGKR is a dual low-voltage rail-to-rail output operational amplifier from Texas Instruments in a compact VSSOP-8 (DGK) package. Designed specifically for 2.7V to 5.5V single-supply operation, it meets or exceeds the performance of the industry-standard LM358 and LM324 devices that require 5V to 30V supplies. The rail-to-rail output swing maximizes dynamic range in low-voltage systems, while the input common-mode range includes ground. The device features no crossover distortion for clean audio signal handling. With 1MHz GBW and 210µA per-amplifier supply current, the LMV358 is well-suited for portable and battery-powered applications.

The LMV358IDGKR uses a bipolar input stage designed for low-voltage operation with rail-to-rail output capability. The input common-mode range extends from -0.2V below the negative rail to approximately 0.8V below the positive rail, accommodating ground-referenced signals in single-supply configurations. The output stage uses a complementary push-pull architecture that swings within approximately 65mV of the negative rail and 120mV of the positive rail at light loads. The absence of crossover distortion ensures smooth transition between sourcing and sinking output current. Each amplifier draws only 210µA typical supply current. The 1MHz gain bandwidth product and 1V/µs slew rate support moderate-frequency signal processing.
