The GRM21BR61H106KE43L from Murata is a 10uF, 50V, X5R MLCC in 0805 package. Offers +/-10% capacitance tolerance with stable X5R dielectric (-55 to 85 C, +/-15% variation). Low ESR (~10mOhm) provides effective decoupling and smoothing. Nickel barrier termination reduces flex cracking. Suitable for power supply bypassing, DC-DC converter filtering, and general-purpose energy storage.

A multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) consisting of alternating layers of ceramic dielectric (barium titanate based X5R formulation) and nickel inner electrodes, fired together in a monolithic structure. The X5R dielectric provides a compromise between capacitance density and temperature stability. DC bias effect reduces effective capacitance at higher applied voltages (typically 30-50% reduction at rated voltage). The 0805 package size accommodates the many dielectric layers needed for 10uF at 50V rating.
