The AD8656ARZ-REEL7 is a dual-channel, low-noise, precision CMOS operational amplifier from Analog Devices. Utilizing the proprietary DigiTrim technology, it achieves high DC accuracy with 250µV max offset voltage and 0.4µV/°C drift. With 28 MHz bandwidth, 2.7 nV/√Hz input voltage noise, and 0.0007% THD+N, it delivers outstanding performance for audio, data acquisition, and precision instrumentation applications. The rail-to-rail input/output capability enables use in single-supply systems from 2.7V to 5.5V.

The AD8656 operates through three key subsystems: (1) Precision Input Stage: A trimmed CMOS differential pair with DigiTrim calibration achieves 250µV max VOS and 1pA input bias current. The rail-to-rail input stage uses complementary N-ch and P-ch pairs to cover the full supply range. (2) Gain Stage: A high-gain voltage amplifier provides 110dB open-loop gain, 28MHz GBW, and 11V/µs slew rate. (3) Rail-to-Rail Output Stage: A class-AB CMOS output stage swings to within millivolts of both rails, capable of driving 1mA loads while maintaining low distortion across the output range.
