The 67997-410HLF from Amphenol ICC is a 2×20 pin surface-mount header with 1.27mm pitch for board-to-board and cable connections.

The 67997-410HLF is a 2×20 (40-pin) surface-mount pin header from Amphenol ICC with 1.27mm x 1.27mm (0.050 x 0.050 inch) pitch. The 1.27mm pitch is half the standard 2.54mm (0.100 inch) pitch commonly used in prototyping, making it suitable for high-density board-to-board and cable-to-board connections. The header features through-hole mounting tails that extend through the PCB for wave soldering, providing a robust mechanical connection. The contacts are phosphor bronze with gold plating (0.76um gold over 1.27um nickel) in the mating area and tin plating on the solder tails. The gold plating ensures reliable mating over a minimum of 200 insertion cycles. The dielectric withstanding voltage is 1000V AC between adjacent contacts. The contact current rating is 1A per pin. The operating temperature range is -55C to +105C. The -410HLF suffix specifies the 40-pin (2×20) configuration, surface mount with through-hole tails, and tin-lead-free (halogen-free) material. The header mates with Amphenol 67997 series receptacles or any 1.27mm pitch IDC (Insulation Displacement Contact) ribbon cable connector. This form factor is commonly used for: (1) Compact board-to-board stacking; (2) LCD module interfaces; (3) FPGA development board expansion headers; (4) Mezzanine card connections. The 1.27mm pitch is compatible with 0.050-inch ribbon cable and is the standard pitch for many ARM development board expansion connectors.
