The Phoenix Contact 1777099 (MSTBV 2,5/4-GF-5,08) is a 4-position PCB header from the COMBICON MSTBV 2,5 series designed for industrial interconnection applications. It features a 5.08mm pitch with 4 positions in a single row, supporting a nominal current of 12A and nominal voltage of 320V (III/2). The header includes a threaded flange for superior mechanical stability, allowing secure mounting to the PCB using sheet metal screws. The screw locking mechanism provides reliable conductor connection. The tin-plated copper alloy contacts ensure low contact resistance of 2 mOhm. The PBT insulator is rated UL 94 V0 for flammability safety. The vertical connection orientation enables multi-row arrangement on the PCB for space-efficient designs.

The MSTBV 2,5/4-GF-5,08 PCB header provides a pluggable interface between PCB traces and external conductors. The header pins are soldered into the PCB using wave soldering through plated through-holes. The threaded flange mechanically secures the header to the PCB using sheet metal screws (ISO 1481-ST 2.2×6.5C), preventing mechanical stress on solder joints during mating and unmating. The screw locking mechanism on the mating connector (MSTB 2,5 series) clamps the conductor against the contact surface with a tightening torque of 0.3 Nm. The tin-plated contact surface (3-5um Sn over 1.3-3um Ni) provides a gas-tight, corrosion-resistant connection. The PBT insulator provides electrical isolation rated at 320V (III/2) with 4kV surge voltage withstand capability.
