The BM02B-NSHSS-TBT is a 2-position 1.0mm pitch surface-mount top-entry shrouded header from JST’s NSH connector series. This is the standard version without the lead-free (LF) and tin plating (SN) designation suffix, which may indicate an older or non-RoHS variant. The NSH series features a secure lock mechanism with audible click confirmation, low insertion force contacts compatible with the SHL series, and an extended operating temperature range up to +105°C. The top-entry orientation provides vertical cable egress from the PCB surface.

The BM02B-NSHSS-TBT operates identically to the (LF)(SN) variant but may use different contact plating materials. The connector mates with the NSHR-02V-S wire housing using SSHL-003T-P0.2 crimp contacts. The secure lock mechanism provides both retention force and tactile feedback, ensuring reliable 2-circuit connections in space-constrained applications. For new designs, the (LF)(SN) lead-free compliant version is recommended.
