The ATMEGA162-16AU from Microchip (formerly Atmel) is a high-performance, low-power 8-bit AVR RISC microcontroller in a 44-pin TQFP package. It features 16 KB in-system programmable Flash, 1 KB SRAM, 512B EEPROM, two USARTs, SPI, JTAG interface, two 16-bit timers, two 8-bit timers, and 16 PWM channels. Achieving up to 16 MIPS at 16 MHz with single-cycle instruction execution, it supports external memory expansion up to 64 KB.
