The STM32F103ZEH6 from STMicroelectronics is a high-density performance line 32-bit microcontroller from the popular STM32F1 series, based on the ARM Cortex-M3 core operating at up to 72MHz. With 512KB of Flash memory and 64KB of SRAM, it provides ample code and data space for complex embedded applications. The device offers an exceptionally rich peripheral set: three 12-bit ADCs with 1us conversion time and up to 21 channels (with triple sample-and-hold for simultaneous sampling), two 12-bit DACs for analog waveform generation, five USARTs with LIN/ISO7816/IrDA support, three SPI interfaces (two with I2S multiplexed), two I2C interfaces, CAN 2.0B active, USB 2.0 full-speed, and an SDIO interface. Two advanced 16-bit PWM timers with dead-time generation and emergency stop are specifically designed for motor control applications. The Flexible Static Memory Controller (FSMC) supports Compact Flash, SRAM, PSRAM, NOR, and NAND memories, enabling external memory expansion for data logging or program execution. A 12-channel DMA controller handles data transfers for ADC, DAC, SPI, I2S, I2C, USART, and SDIO without CPU intervention. The STM32F103ZEH6 is housed in a compact 144-pin BGA package (10x10mm) with 112 I/O pins, most of which are 5V-tolerant, and operates from -40 to +105C.
