The MPQ6533GUE-AEC1-C16K-Z is an MPS AEC-Q100 Grade 1 qualified 6V to 40V three-channel automotive pre-driver IC designed for DC motor drive applications. It drives six external N-channel power MOSFETs and integrates an LDO regulator for gate drive voltage generation, a charge pump for external N-channel MOSFET reverse-battery protection, and an internal current-sense amplifier that measures the voltage drop across the low-side MOSFETs—eliminating the need for external shunt resistors. Features include configurable OCP, adjustable dead time and slew rate, open/short load detection, SPI diagnostics, and fault output. Available in QFN-32 (5x5mm) package.

The MPQ6533GUE-AEC1-C16K-Z operates as a three-channel half-bridge pre-driver, controlling six external N-channel MOSFETs arranged in three half-bridge legs. The integrated LDO regulator generates the gate drive voltage for the low-side MOSFETs. The bootstrap capacitors and internal charge pump generate the high-side gate drive voltage, enabling 100% duty cycle operation. An additional charge pump provides gate drive for an external N-channel MOSFET used for reverse-battery protection. The internal current-sense amplifier measures the VDS of the low-side MOSFETs during the on-state, providing current feedback without external shunt resistors. The SPI interface configures dead time, slew rate, OCP thresholds, and reads diagnostic registers. The fault output pin provides hardware fault indication to the MCU.
