The LMR16006XDDCR is a 60V 600mA buck converter from TI in SOT-23-6 with 1.5MHz switching frequency (X version). It uses peak current-mode control with an integrated high-side N-channel MOSFET. The BOOT pin provides gate drive for the high-side MOSFET through an external bootstrap capacitor (0.1uF). The EN pin has an internal 1.2MΩ pull-up resistor, enabling the device when left floating. Pulling EN below 1.25V shuts down the device, reducing supply current to 1uA. The feedback voltage is 1.0V, set by an external resistor divider. The internal slope compensation prevents sub-harmonic oscillation at duty cycles above 50%. Cycle-by-cycle current limiting at 1.3A protects the MOSFET. The X version switches at 1.5MHz, allowing a 4.7uH inductor for most applications. The Y version runs at 2.1MHz for even smaller inductor size. Thermal shutdown at 170C junction protects the die. The high 60V input rating makes it ideal for industrial 24V/48V bus systems, automotive battery, and telecom -48V applications.
