The CD4093BE from TI is a quad 2-input NAND Schmitt-trigger with 3-15V wide supply range and hysteresis for noise rejection in DIP-14 through-hole for oscillators and wave shaping.

The CD4093BE is a quad 2-input NAND Schmitt-trigger from the CD4000 CMOS family in DIP-14. Each of the four gates performs the NAND function (output LOW only when both inputs are HIGH) with Schmitt-trigger input hysteresis. The hysteresis means the positive-going threshold (VT+) is higher than the negative-going threshold (VT-), typically VT+ = 5.5V and VT- = 3.8V at 10V VDD. This hysteresis makes the device immune to slow input edges and noise: a slowly rising input must exceed VT+ to switch the output, and a slowly falling input must drop below VT- to switch back. This is invaluable for debouncing mechanical switches, squaring up slow signals from sensors, and creating RC oscillators. The NAND Schmitt trigger can also function as an oscillator by connecting the output through an RC network to the input. The CD4000 family operates from 3V to 15V with quiescent current of only 1uA per gate.
