The LTST-C191KSKT from Lite-On is a yellow AlInGaP chip LED in a 0603 package. With 584.5-597 nm dominant wavelength and 130-degree viewing angle, it provides distinctive yellow indication. Pin-compatible with the red LTST-C191KRKT, both can coexist on the same PCB for multi-color status displays. The 1.8-2.4 V forward voltage range and 30 mA DC rating support direct logic-level drive with a series resistor.

The LTST-C191KSKT uses an AlInGaP epitaxial structure similar to the red LTST-C191KRKT, but with a modified active layer composition that shifts the emission wavelength to yellow (589 nm). The bandgap energy of the active region determines the emission wavelength; the yellow variant uses a slightly different Al/Ga ratio compared to the red. The water-clear lens with optional tinted diffuser provides either a focused or diffused appearance. The LED is binned for both luminous intensity (N-R grades) and dominant wavelength (H-M sub-bins) to ensure color and brightness consistency in production.
