The CYBT-343026-01 is an Infineon (formerly Cypress) fully integrated Bluetooth 5.0 Smart Ready wireless module in a 12×15.5mm castellated package. The module integrates the CYW20706 Bluetooth/BLE dual-mode silicon device, an onboard crystal oscillator, passive components, and 512KB serial flash memory for standalone operation. The Bluetooth 5.0 stack is royalty-free and qualified by Bluetooth SIG (QDID: 164447). The integrated power amplifier supports Class 1 (long range) or Class 2 (standard range) output power configuration. The Cortex-M3 32-bit processor provides sufficient processing power for application code alongside the Bluetooth stack. The 11 GPIO pins support peripheral functions including ADC, PWM, UART, SPI, I2C, and PCM/I2S audio interface. The castellated solder pad connections simplify PCB assembly without requiring a specialized BGA or QFN footprint. The module is multi-certified to FCC (US), ISED (Canada), MIC (Japan), SRRC (China), KC (Korea), NCC (Taiwan), ANATEL (Brazil), and CE (Europe) regulations, eliminating the need for separate radio certification. Packaged in 12×15.5mm module rated for -30C to +85C.

The CYBT-343026-01 module integrates the CYW20706 baseband processor and RF transceiver with all necessary external components. The CYW20706 implements the Bluetooth 5.0 physical layer and link layer in hardware, with the protocol stack and application running on the embedded Cortex-M3 processor. The 512KB external serial flash stores the Bluetooth stack firmware, application code, and configuration data (BD_ADDR, pairing keys, etc.). At power-up, the bootloader loads the firmware from flash into RAM and starts the Bluetooth stack. The RF front end includes a power amplifier for Class 1/2 operation, LNA for receiver sensitivity, and impedance matching network. The onboard 24MHz crystal provides the reference clock for the RF synthesizer. The module antenna is a PCB trace design optimized for the 2.4GHz ISM band. The UART interface provides the WICED application transport layer for host communication. SPI and I2C interfaces connect to application peripherals. The PCM/I2S interface supports digital audio streaming for headset and speaker applications. The ADC channels measure analog sensor inputs, and PWM outputs drive LEDs, motors, and other actuators.
