The AD713JRZ-16 from Analog Devices is the quad version of the AD711 precision BiFET operational amplifier. All four channels share the same high-performance BiFET process with 15 pA input bias current, 16 V/us minimum slew rate, and 1 us settling time to +/-0.01%. The device is an enhanced replacement for the industry-standard TL084 and LF347, offering superior DC precision (300 uV typical offset vs. 3-5 mV for TL084) and faster settling time. The SOIC-16 package provides a compact footprint for 4-channel applications. Note: This product is not recommended for new designs; the ADA4610-4 is the recommended replacement with rail-to-rail output and improved performance.

The AD713JRZ-16 uses the same BiFET (Bipolar + JFET) process as the AD711, with ion-implanted JFET input transistors providing 15 pA input bias current and bipolar gain and output stages delivering 16 V/us slew rate. Each of the four amplifier channels is independent with dedicated input and output pins, sharing only the supply rails. The laser-trimmed input offset voltage of 300 uV typical (J grade) is achieved through wafer-level trimming. The 1 us settling time to +/-0.01% (approximately 12-bit accuracy) makes it suitable as a DAC output buffer in data acquisition systems. The class AB output stage can drive 600 Ohm loads with adequate output swing. The internal compensation ensures stability in gains of 1 or greater.
