Each channel integrates a vertical power DMOS transistor as the switching element, controlled by a logic-level input through a charge-pump gate driver. The charge pump generates the gate voltage above the VS supply rail to fully enhance the N-channel DMOS, achieving low RDS(on) of 200mOhm per channel. Protection features include over-temperature shutdown (150C junction), current limitation (4A per channel), over-load detection, and short-circuit protection. The DIAG pins provide fault status feedback for open-load and over-temperature conditions. The ST pin enables a low-current standby mode (10uA) for battery conservation in always-connected automotive applications.
